On Sunday, April 23, the Bushwackers Drum Corps will be holding our second free spin clinic and first round of auditions for the color guard for the corps’ 36th season. After a successful Open House in November and free spin clinic in March, our guard program is taking shape, and we are preparing for one of the strongest color guards in years for the Bushwackers.
The next spin clinic will be held at Woodbridge High School, 1 Samuel Lupo Place, Woodbridge, New Jersey. The day will begin at 9:00 am and will go until 5:00 pm. For more information, sign up below, and we will send you email with more details about what you should bring.
Whether you are interested in marching with the Bushwackers color guard this summer or just looking to improve your skills with flag, rifle, sabre, and dance, you will have a great time learning techniques and routines with the Bushwackers instructional staff led by color guard caption head, Lauryn Heller. The free event is open to everyone regardless of skill level, and will be a great learning opportunity. Like the previous spin clinics presented by the Bushwackers, everyone who participates will learn something that can be brought back to his or her own indoor and outdoor programs.
We are planning a fun and competitive season with the Bushwackers Drum Corps, and if you want to be a part of a great summer, start by attending the spin clinic!
