Dear Alumni, Family, and Friends

Sweating in the sun, playing in the rain (or hurricane), marching your tail off, meeting friends for life.  These are the memories of summers past. These are the memories etched in stone over the decades and the friendships forged for a lifetime. It is what many of you did week in and week out, sometimes for many years, because it was your desire to be great. This is what it means to be a Bushwacker.

Every one of you wants to see the Bushwackers continue to succeed. As we enter the fall, preparations are already underway for a successful season in 2010. There are also new projects geared toward creating long-term success and solvency in the corps. If there were ever a time to be a BushBacker, it is now.

Now is the time to act. The Bushwackers want to ensure that great drum corps memories and experiences can continue long into the future. Your help is vital to the corps’ ability to function and succeed. The economy has hit many of us very hard, and drum corps is no different.  The rising costs of fuel, equipment, and other supplies have made survival for many corps a very real concern. 

We are asking you today to consider donating $10 per month, or more if you're able. There are other sponsorship levels, both lower and higher, as well as various payment methods (including monthly or all at once.) Please consider what sponsorship level you can really afford in order to make a difference as we enter the 2010 season.
